Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Business Technology Advisor to join the TBTC Melbourne East family. We are looking for a brilliant communicator with a passion for technology and understanding of business customer needs to join our high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting business customers from a wide range of industries achieve their business goals through the implementation of technology. We are looking for someone with experience and knowledge of a wide range of ICT solutions, products and technologies. Key accountabilities:

  • Maximising qualified leads from our Account Managers and Business Sales teams.
  • Account managing and developing existing Telstra business customers.
  • Utilising Telstra’s full “tool kit” of business products and services.
  • Identifying and creating ICT and collaboration solutions opportunities with our business customers.
  • Building long term business relationships with key stakeholders and partners to develop new opportunities.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in B2B Technology and Solutions relationship management role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Telco and ICT products and solutions.
  • Previous knowledge of Telstra products and services is highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Proven track record in B2B account management, business development or relationship management role.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.

We are searching for someone with the ability to work both reactively, on tickets logged by customers and alerts, and proactively, performing maintenance tasks. 

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide support to our clients via phone, tickets (email) and occasionally on-site
  • Continue to improve technical skills through studies and further education 
  • Effectively communicate with clients 
  • Participate in a paid, on-call roster 
  • Ensure documentation is completed and updated as appropriate.

  • BUDR solutions.

Ideally, you have the experience in:

  • Level 1 support role within an IT managed service provider
  • Working with Labtech or ConnectWise is a strong advantage.
